In my practice you will find a confidential, respectful, supportive & non- judgmental environment where you can address and explore your emotions, fears and worries.

I have 20 years experience of working with young people in a variety of different settings and with a range of complex needs. For 7 years I was the Lead Counsellor at a secondary school in South London where I worked with the young people, staff, and parents/carers. I now run my own practice in Crystal Palace, South East London.

My role as a counsellor is to facilitate you to recognize, nurture, develop and utilize your problem solving skills. I use an integrative approach, using techniques tailored to suit each persons individual needs.

I work with a broad range of issues and have particular experience in working with people with Aspergers Syndrome. Young people attend therapy for many different reasons, here is an idea of some of the kind of issues a young person may come to counseling for:

Bereavement, bullying, living in foster care, separation or divorce, aggressive behaviour, withdrawn behaviour, emotional worries, trauma, illness, sleep difficulties, anxieties, low self esteem, self-identity, sexuality, self-harm, eating disorders, low mood, depression, social-communication difficulties/Aspergers Syndrome

Testimonials

Becky is a empathic and insightful counsellor. She has a calming and grounded approach that works particularly well with young people. She has been a tremendous help and support with my daughter and guided her through a difficult time.

Kathy Hayes, Kent

I wanted to thank you for all your help with our daughter. She really seems to have turned a corner with her anxiety and OCD and your help has been central to this. I think you provided a safe space for her to get things off her chest and you also offered practical solutions for little things she can do to manage her worries and obsessive thoughts. She also said you were very easy to talk to and you have a great positive energy and never stopped smiling.
